I know a lot of people are thrilled with the idea of freeflying your parrot outdoors and it is an amazing experience for both the bird and owner. However, there are serious dangers in allowing your bird to have this life and there is tons of training that goes into being able to do it with your bird in the first place. So don't attempt it with your bird at home and just think because your bird takes treats from you or because your bird really, really likes you... that it will come back outside... because that is not the case and there is A LOT more to it than that. If you want to browse more of my own personal freeflight adventures, feel free to check out my numerous videos documenting our outside fun at you tube. You can also view my hundreds of images at Flickr. That link sends you directly to the "freeflying parrots" photostream, bypassing the other sets like "the flock" (simply bird photos) and housing, etc.
