Pellets are an essential part to any balanced parrot diet.

In captivity, many times the foods that birds would eat in the wild are not suitable to be in a daily diet (fruits, nuts, and seeds especially!). These foods, high in fats and sugars that would normally be burned off flying, tend to cause health problems when fed in excess amounts (obesity, fatty liver disease, hypervitaminosis, etc...) that are beginning to plague the parrot world.

However, these problems can be avoided if measures are taken to provide a natural daily feeding system paired with a healthy, organic pellet

Our parrot pellets are comprised of 100% natural,
ORGANIC ingredients.

They are FREE FROM:

⦁ GMOs
⦁ Wheat and corn fillers
⦁ Added vitamins or minerals
⦁ Artificial flavors
⦁ Added sugar of any kind
⦁ Dyes
⦁ Chemical preservatives

They are preserved using natural ingredients, and they are suitable for any sized parrot. These pellets are processed using a cold-pressed method which retains all the nutrition naturally occurring in each ingredient.

Here is a list of the ingredients inside our organic pellets. It’s truly impressive. Every single ingredient comes directly from nature:

Alfalfa leaf, millet, barley, rice [The following ingredients comprise of no more than 5% total volume each] sunflower seeds, sesame seeds unhulled, quinoa whole, pumpkin, buckwheat, dandelion leaf powder, carrot powder, spinach leaf powder, purple dulse, kelp, rose hips powder, rose hips crushed, orange peel powder, lemon peel powder, rosemary whole leaf, cayenne ground, crushed red chili peppers, nettle leaf, cinnamon

Moreover, pellets are critical for times of emergency when you have to leave your parrot in the hands of a caregiver. It will give you peace of mind knowing you've selected a brand you can trust.

"I am always amazed at the testimonies I hear of customers telling me how much better behaved (and quiet!) their birds are since starting on our pellets. I wouldn't have believed it had I not heard it first-hand myself.
It is believed that about 30% of all behavior problems can be solved by diet alone."
- Wendi Geesey, BT customer service since 2008

PLEASE NOTE: While corn is an ingredient that is not used in our pellets, it is used as an eco-friendly and bird-safe way to clean the machinery used to grind the ingredients for our pellets. While it is very rare that this would happen, corn can at times get lodged in the machinery and then accidentally get processed into a piece of the pellets. We recommend if you find a piece of corn to toss it out, but know that it is perfectly safe for your parrot to ingest if you'd rather feed it.
