A Different Way to Serve Your Parrot Calcium (Eggs)

I was making my hubby some egg drop soup today (his favorite) when it dawned on me that the way you make the egg into the soup is a great and different way of making eggs for your birds

If you've never had or made egg drop soup before, here's how I make it...

I bring the soup mix and 2.5 cups of water to a boil and take one large beaten egg and drip it into the boiling mixture. The beaten egg cooks practically instantly! It's really neat to watch and is ready to serve within seconds. It made me realize that you could literally cook your eggs this way (or egg whites, as I always try to recommend) and add tons of other healthy stuff to it or just add lots and lots of eggs if you have lots of birds to make it mega egg drop soup, ha!

You can make this soup from scratch with chicken broth (no sodium), or whatever you prefer. Just remember, you can make your bird some soup and it's an easy way to cook all the ingredients! And it's a way to make it different than what you normally prepare. Just make it super chunky with lots of nutrients for them so they aren't drinking it like we would drink soup, but they're eating it!
