While I shop for foraging toys all the time for my parrots, I got to thinking... what about my Swainson Toucan? Are there foraging toys out there for toucans, too? Well, they haven't said "specifically made for toucans" but I have been applying my parrot ones to my toucan where I can. Obviously, they have their differences, but I'm finding out which ones really work for my toucan as well.
The first one I discovered would work for her is a skewer (or kabob) as I can fit her fruits on it (not all, but many) some berries like blue berries are just too small for these, but other berries work as well as larger fruits like mango, kiwi and other larger slices of melon. I've also begun giving Fiji melons that she has to break into herself to get into which is a lot of work and time for her which makes it that much more great and fun for her day!
