Playful Parrot Pile!

So recently my flock got to meet Zoey, the newest freeflight student! It was a playful mess of fun with her around! She wasn't at all intimidated by the "older" birds (I still think of them as babies) and joined right in on all the fun! She got along best with my Camelot Macaw, Comet.

Here are all the macaws playing in the den...

We brought in a roll of paper towels and it was shredded (if you can't tell) and other than that, the birds just needed one another to play hard! You can see my two boys in the back, of course on their backs as always... they've loved going on their backs lately and do it naturally.

The blue throats tend not to go on their backs as easily and like to walk across the others instead, which is pretty funny! They all had a really great time and I was happy meeting Zoey was such a success between all the birds. Soon enough, they will all be flying outside together! It's gonna be hard telling apart all the blue throats once in the sky!
