I can't even tell you how important I feel bird blogs on the web are. Not so much from taking every single word someone writes as gold (my own included, hell, these are just my experiences, not the Bible!) but to merely SHARE information, experiences, knowledge (or sometimes lack thereof which is totally ok!)
Think of all the different types of blogs out there on pets, fashion, food and exercise among sports and photography and all the other hobbies and animals out there. Bird blogs are so great for people to share, share, share!
I love that I'm seeing more and more people blogging about their parrots... as journals, as photos, as keepsakes or scrapbooks, as information on what the bird does or what they learn from the bird, or even keeping track of their training (my personal favorite to follow because there's progression) and all the informational blogs as well. I love it all so if you start up a blog on your parrot make sure to link to other blogs so that everyone is passing around lots of information. There's always the sidebar for links and the more going out and coming in, the better for all of us bird owners constantly trying to better our bird's lives.
If you don't have a blog but like to write, you could become a guest blogger on an already parrot blog, or start your own for fun. Give it a thought! :)
